This exhibition celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Wilkie Collins, novelist and playwright (8 January 1824 – 23 September 1889), and welcomes the 29th Annual Dickens Society Symposium to the University of Birmingham. Showcasing rare books and manuscripts from the Cadbury Research Library relating to Collins and his friend and mentor, the ‘inimitable’ writer, Charles Dickens (1812 – 1870).
