The award-winning 12 ensemble bring a combination of youthful virtuosity, passion and fearless musicianship to The Bramall, with a stunning programme based around the best of British music for strings.
Directed from the violin by Eloisa-Fleur Thom, this un-conducted string chamber orchestra brings together twelve of the UK’s most talented chamber musicians to form a group that works more like a string quartet than a regular orchestra.
In this programme, they perform the three British works from their forthcoming debut album along with Schubert’s masterful early ‘Overture in C minor’ and Elgar’s hauntingly beautiful ‘Elegy for Strings’.
