Well-being through Movement in the Classroom and Beyond

Dr. Sarah Benson and Dr. Collin Webster will discuss how to use movement in the classroom to create a more inclusive environment that can support many types of learners.
Dr. Sarah is an inclusion expert and disability advocate who has taught in secondary classrooms around the world, always taking the opportunity to create active and movement-based learning opportunities for her students. While Dr. Collin is a long time researcher into movement and physical education in schools. Together the two will have a conversation about how to create inclusive, movement-based classrooms that meet the needs of many different kinds of learners. Guests of the talk will be able to participate in a Q&A session and reception afterwards. This talk is open to anyone in the education or sports community.
