Birmingham born Nira Chamberlain has been described by Loughborough University as one of its Greatest Scientific Minds. He is a Chartered Scientist, Chartered Mathematician, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA).
Nira is also a passionate advocate for Mathematics, which he describes as “indisputably the greatest subject in the world!” and keen to share his enthusiasm with people of all ages. In 2018 was the Winner of the Big Internet Math Off title – World’s Most Interesting Mathematician.
Open to all UoB staff and students, also Teachers and students from year 10 upwards are welcome to join us for this special Black History Month event.
