Hear from exhibiting artists Claudette Johnson and Trevor Mathison in conversation with Beverley Bennett and Professor Dorothy Price as they reflect upon Darker Than Blue, their artistic practice and wider research.

A rare opportunity to hear directly from the acclaimed artist Claudette Johnson, who has recently been shortlisted for the Turner Prize, as she discusses her solo show at the Barber Institute Darker Than Blue. She will be joined by multidisciplinary artist Trevor Mathison, one of the founding members of the Black Audio Film Collective, who has made an immersive soundscape for the exhibition.

Johnson and Mathison will be talking with artist-filmmaker and frequent collaborator Beverley Bennett and art historian and Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art and Critical Race Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art, Dorothy Price.
