Join us for the 41st annual Baggs Memorial Happiness Lecture with Eve Pollard OBE as she reflects on "Happiness - what it is and how it can be achieved by individuals as well as nations". Eve is a journalist, presenter and broadcaster. Often referred to as 'The First Lady of Fleet Street', Eve was one of the first female editors of a national newspaper in the UK, editing the Sunday Mirror from 1987-1991 and the Sunday Express from 1991-1994.
Please note doors open at 17.30 and close 10 minutes before the start of the lecture.
Eve has had a varied TV career and has written four novels. She is Vice-Chair of the women's health charity Wellbeing of Women, and has recently been Chair of the BBC's Radio 4 panel naming the UK's Most Powerful Women.
