Careers Expo
The Careers Expo at the University of Birmingham Dubai is held on-campus twice a year, exclusively for our students and recent graduates. This event offers recruiters from all industries and of any size the chance to promote their graduate and work experience opportunities for the current academic year and beyond. Past participants include companies such as L'Oréal, Standard Chartered, HLB Hamt, Michael Page, CSCEC, Siemens, Veolia, Sage Clinics, AIESEC, Keolis-MHI (Dubai Metro), Adecco and Emirates Literature Festival. By participating, you can connect directly with our large diverse student community at our Dubai Campus.

Birmingham Dubai Award
The Birmingham Dubai Award (formerly the Personal Skills Award) is the University’s employability award for undergraduate students. It helps students from all disciplines develop, recognise, and articulate their skills in preparation for real-world recruitment processes. This award-winning programme allows students to gain recognition for participating in extra-curricular activities. It also includes an educational component that supports students in reflecting on and effectively articulating their skills during graduate recruitment.
We encourage employers to participate in the Birmingham Dubai Award. Each year, we offer a select number of employer partner opportunities (reviewed in July/August) to support the award assessment process. The employer supporter package allows you to share information about your organisation with students undertaking the award and impart your knowledge of graduate recruitment processes.
Advertising vacancies and opportunities
Partner with the University of Birmingham Dubai to advertise your opportunities through our internal careers system. We can promote graduate vacancies, placements, internships, volunteering, and part-time jobs on our online vacancies and opportunities board.
The process is simple, user-friendly, and free of charge. Students can search for opportunities by job type, degree discipline, sector, and location. They can also save searches and receive email notifications about new vacancies.
