The Enterprise team can offer rapid turn-around on commercial fee-for-service and equipment access agreements for medical and engineering facilities, and some of which are unique in the UK.

The University of Birmingham’s National Buried Infrastructure Facility (NBIF) is the only one of its kind in the UK focussing on underground infrastructure. Its distinctive features, including a unique movable floor that simulates ground movement, and a suite of data-generating sensors, allows researchers to conduct large-scale tests for industry, while also providing training for students and practitioners.

Enterprise recently facilitated a contract which had to be urgently put in place for the NBIF with a company that wanted a very quick turnaround for the work. “This necessitated a swift processing of the contract. Enterprise came in to help us facilitate the contractual side, in an efficient approach,” says Nicole Metje, NBIF’s director, adding that this is an advantage of Enterprise’s offering: “If we need to turn around something very quickly, Enterprise provides that agility.”
