Alumnus Fenner Curtis (BA Music and English 2007) is pleased to extend a special invitation to Birmingham alumni to join him on 25 May at Longborough Festival Opera for the first dress rehearsal of the season. Alumni will enjoy a performance of the exciting new opera Wahnfried: The Birth of the Wagner Cult in the 500-seat theatre near Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds. The performance will run from 14:00 to 17:30, including a 1-hour interval during which alumni are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy within the beautiful grounds. A designated marquee will be set up for alumni to gather, reminisce about your time at the university, and celebrate our 125th anniversary.
As Head of Marketing & Box Office at Longborough Festival Opera, Fenner has kindly secured a limited number of free tickets for alumni. These will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is plenty of parking on site. For those traveling by public transport, a shuttle bus service is available from the nearby Moreton-in-Marsh railway station (£16 return).
Venue: Longborough Festival Opera, New Banks Fee, Longborough, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 0QF
