We’re committed to providing you with the best student accommodation. That’s why we adhere to the Student Accommodation Code, which provides benchmarks for the quality of our accommodation, along with management good practice.
Our responsibilities
The Code is in place to ensure we deliver what we say we will, and is centred around six core areas:
- Maintaining a healthy, safe environment
- Sorting repairs and maintenance in good time
- Creating a clean, pleasant living environment
- Providing access to health and wellbeing services
- Creating a living environment free from anti-social behaviour
- Providing a formal, contractual relationship between students at the University
As well as holding us accountable, the Code outlines details what you should do if any aspects of your accommodation do not live up to your expectations.
You can read a full version of the Code on the Student Accommodation Code website.
All accommodation managed by our partners is accredited under the ANUK Code of Standards.
Your responsibilities
As part of our commitment to excellence, we have a Code of Practice (COP) for each of our residences too. These are tailored to your accommodation and outline all the information you need to know before and during your time with us.
While the Student Accommodation Code details our responsibilities, your accommodation’s COP also explains how you can do your bit to make Birmingham a great place to live. It’s important that you read and make yourself familiar with yours before you move in.
