Hello I'm Professor Rachel O'Reilly, a Professor of polymer science and Head of the School of Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. We look forward to you visiting us on our stunning campus at one of our open days or offer holder visit days where you can meet our fantastic staff and students and experience our world-class facilities for learning and research.

Birmingham chemistry is a great place to work and study.  Chemistry has been recognised by the university
as a key importance in this changing world and we've been supported with significant investment within teaching and research.

Our chemistry community is committed to giving our students a fantastic learning experience across the breadth of
chemistry and one where they can contribute to addressing global challenges in health, sustainability and energy.
