Aimee Jackson is a Principal Biostatistician at Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU). She joined CRCTU in 2013 and specialises in haematological cancers. Her research focuses on efficient designs and the use of Bayesian methodology.

Biography

Aimee joined the CRCTU a year after completing her MSc in Biometry at the University of Reading and is now a Principal Biostatistician within the unit. Aimee takes statistical lead of haematology oncology portfolios within CRCTU including paediatric haematology oncology trials, adult haematology trials and stem cell transplant trials. She has experience in all trial phases from dose finding studies to phase III studies and is involved in the design, supervision, analysis, and reporting of trials.

Aimee’s research focus is the application of efficient trial designs in both a Bayesian and frequentist framework, including the use of adaptive trial designs, platform trial and trials with multiple randomisation or questions.

Other activities

Aimee is part of the Blood Cancer UK Clinical Trials Review Committee. She sits on external data monitoring committees for trials at other units and is part of the NCRI Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) sub group committee.
