Alumni Community for Current Students

Alumni is the term used to refer to former students of a University. Latin by origin, the use of the word and its various forms can sometimes get quite confusing!

As the Alumni Relations team, we aim to keep in touch and nurture long lasting relationships with our former students, whether this be through organising reunions, publishing annual magazines filled with the latest College news or helping to build links with industry - there are 25,000 College of Medical and Dental Sciences alumni all across the world, so it’s a busy job!

However the alumni community is not just something to become involved with after you graduate. You are already in a position to benefit from our alumni’s experience and knowledge as a current student. For example, did you know that you can be mentored by one of our alumni, attend networking events to find out about careers, or that they provide internships and placement opportunities? These are just a few of the many ways that you can benefit from former students’ expertise, so why not find out what they can do for you?
