Why did you apply to the University of Birmingham?
I applied as I was taking part in a 2+2 programme between University of Birmingham and Hefei University of Technology (HFUT). The reason why I participated in this programme is that I believe it’s an extraordinary opportunity to be exposed to an international environment. And UoB, as one of the top 100 universities in the world, could really broaden my horizons and enrich my abilities.
What are the best points of your course?
I believe the best points of my course are the design projects. Personally, I've found these projects quite a challenge but also interesting. Projects like the Integrated Design Project (IDP) really gives you a basic understanding of how to collaborate with other disciplines and how to work out a real project step by step. It is a very practical experience which could be beneficial in the future.
