Events are a fantastic opportunity for students across all age groups to interact with various aspects of the university. We run many initiatives and event series including mentoring and masterclasses, to give students a flavour of university life and study.

Masterclasses
Every spring term, we run a series of masterclasses for students in Years 8 to 13 to offer real insights into university study, particular topics, and subjects, and stimulate curiosity and engagement
Event themes can cover:
- Arts and Humanities
- Life, Environmental and Social Sciences
- Medical and Dental Sciences
- Science and Technology
Raising Aspirations In Secondary Education (RAISE)
The RAISE programme is a range of fun, interactive lectures, workshops, and competitive quizzes for students in Years 7 to 11. They are designed to motivate and inspire students around particular subjects, and in the long term raise achievement at GCSE.
Student mentors
Our mentors are dedicated to encouraging learners as they go through the different milestones from Year 9 to Year 11.
School and campus visits
We can visit your school or college to lead a range of events that aim to provide information, advice, and guidance to students and parents.
