The opportunity to work with UoB colleagues to develop and deliver a safeguarding course allowed us to create something that had meaningful impact on safeguarding practice. We were able to respond to local needs based on employer and practitioner requirements, that facilitated personal and professional development. The module consistently evaluated well with a collective sense from local system leaders that confidence, consistency of practice and expertise improved for practitioners completing the course.
