Applying Through UCAS ‘Clearing’ in July/ August
Applying Through UCAS ‘Clearing’ in July/ August
Navigating the path to securing a spot at a UK university can be challenging for various reasons, whether applying after the deadline, declining previous offers, or not meeting offer conditions. In these situations students should apply through International Clearing to try to secure a place.
Launching in early July, following the release of International Baccalaureate results, our International Clearing process opens doors to a limited number of programs. Prospective students can, at this point, review the list of available programs, grade requirements, and application instructions on our website. This information will be regularly updated to reflect changing availability.
It's essential to note that the University of Birmingham doesn't typically enter clearing routinely. Announcements regarding the availability of spaces through clearing are usually shared in July or August. Keep a lookout for updates on the Birmingham website's front page during this period for the latest news.
