Dr Goudzovski obtained his BSc degree in 2000 and MSc degree in 2002, working on antihyperon production at the Excharm experiment at IHEP Protvino. In 2002, he became a member of the NA48 collaboration at CERN, and has been involved into CERN kaon physics experimental programme since then. His PhD thesis (2006) was devoted to precision searches for direct CP violation in charged kaon decays.
In 2006-2008 he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Scuola Normale Superiore and INFN in Pisa, Italy. He came to Birmingham in 2008 as a research fellow, joining the Birmingham NA62 research group.
After a brief period as a project associate at CERN in 2010, he returned to Birmingham as a Marie Curie research fellow in 2011, and was appointed Royal Society Research fellow and Birmingham fellow in 2012. He became the principal investigator on an ERC starting grant and reader in particle physics in 2014.
