Sally Hartley is a physiotherapist and assistant professor within the School of School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences. She specialises in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.

Biography

Sally has over 20 years of experience in the physiotherapy profession. She has developed her physiotherapy knowledge and expertise by working in a range of healthcare settings, including NHS hospitals, health centres, private healthcare, occupational health, and sports environments. Specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, she completed a Master’s degree in Science of Sports Injury in 2006. 

Whilst completing her master’s degree, Sally first began working as a lecturer in physiotherapy within higher education. She has taught on a range of modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, delivering subjects such as anatomy and physiology, patient management, evidence based practice, rehabilitation in sport, professional practice and leadership. In 2009, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
