Assistant Professor in Clinical Exercise Physiology

Richard is an AHCS registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a primary research interest in exercise training in clinical populations e.g. cardiovascular disease, cancers, heart failure, severe intestinal failure. Prior to moving to academia, Richard worked in the NHS for over 14 years. He has worked, and continues to work, on a number of research trials delivering complex interventions in patients with a range of clinical conditions.
