PhD student announced as Chair of the Parliamentary Conference on Violence Against Women and Girls

Jessica Eaton, a PhD student in the School of Psychology, has been announced as the Chair of the Parliamentary Conference on Violence Against Women and Girls, which takes place in Westminster on 7 November 2017.

Jessica Eaton, a PhD student in the School of Psychology, has been announced as the Chair of the Parliamentary Conference on Violence Against Women and Girls, which takes place in Westminster on 7 November 2017.

She was recommended by Directors of Victim Support due to her national work in VAWG and her research on victim blaming of women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.

Jessica will be discussing her own doctoral research findings and lessons learned about societal victim blaming. She will also be giving the opening and closing speech at this prestigious event.
