University Camerata is a mixed chamber choir offering vocal students a platform to explore a large variety of a cappella choral repertoire.

Director: MA Choral Conducting students

  • Monday 5 – 7.15pm

University Camerata is a specially selected choir of up to 45 voices, created to work with the MA Choral Conducting students under the supervision of Professor Simon Halsey.

They rehearse once a week, focusing particularly on ensemble singing and conducting technique.

Working with up to four student postgraduate conductors each year, University Camerata offers vocal students a platform to explore a large variety of a cappella choral repertoire in a supportive and enriching environment.

    All University Music ensembles are open to students, staff, and local community.

    All of our ensembles require participants to be members of University Music. When joining an ensemble participants will be required to formally complete an application to University Music.
