The South Asian Ensemble supports those who are interested in exploring South Asian music traditions under the direction of leading Tabla player and composer, Savar Sabri, along with guest coaches.

Whether you play a traditional South Asian instrument, or want to explore the repertoire on your Western classical instrument, the ensemble welcomes musicians with a range of abilities and experience.

    All University Music ensembles are open to students, staff, and local community.

    All of our ensembles require participants to be members of University Music. When joining an ensemble participants will be required to formally complete an application to University Music.
