Material Intelligence Workshop – Steel

This event is taking place in collaboration with Material Intelligence magazine. The online publication created by the Chipstone Foundation focuses on one material each issue and explores the different forms of material intelligence held by materials and the people who work with them. The autumn 2024 issue will focus on steel, and this event will be an opportunity to hear from contributors (makers, academics and practitioners) to this issue.

Speakers at the event include historian Jenny Bulstrode, curator Rose Camara, historian Nathan Cardon, writer and critic Seph Rodney, historian Stephen Tuffnell, and writer and curator Alyssa Velazquez.
