Dr Roosa Rytkönen is a social anthropologist specialised in the study of truth and knowledge contestations. In her PhD project, she explored how natural scientists and environmental activists in Western Siberia seek to discern truth in the uncertain epistemic landscape of contemporary Russia. Currently, she is working as a Research Fellow in a project exploring knowledge controversies around peatland restoration, extending her expertise to the fields of nature recovery and natural climate solutions.
