Kyle Jiang is a member of Academia Europaea, fellow of IET, fellow of HEA, and board member of HKSME. He received PhD degree in mechanical engineering from King’s College London, and Doctor of Science from the University of Birmingham.
Kyle Jiang is a professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Birmingham. He was the Research Director of the School, and the Director of High Performance Turbomachinery Research Centre at University of Birmingham. He oranised and participated in European projects, EPSRC projects and Innovate UK projects. He is a reviewer of research grant applications for EPSRC, Royal Society, STFC, European and Mid-East countries. He has about 300 publications in books, book chapters and research papers in peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings, including Nature Communications, Journal of Power Sources, Optics Express, and Nanotechnology. He is the inventor of 18 patents. He is an editorial member of several International Journals and Birmingham City Ambassador.
