Dr Khadijat Olorunlambe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
She has more than eight years of teaching, research and industrial experience. After completing her undergraduate MEng Mechanical Engineering (Biomedical), she worked in a Military hospital in Nigeria as a Biomedical Engineer.
She completed her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham with her research focusing on how Acoustic Emission testing can be used to monitor the tribological mechanisms of artificial joint materials. The application of AE testing has the potential to provide a more dynamic and intuitive way of diagnosing natural and artificial joint pathologies.
She has a passion for engineering educational excellence with a wealth of teaching and supervision experience spanning higher education teaching, teaching overseas and online teaching.
