Dr Shehzad is the Program director of BSc Computer Engineering at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus and an Assistant Professor in the school of Engineering. He has more than 10 years of work experience in the field of higher education.

Qualifications

Dr Shehzad earned his Ph.D. in the field of Computer Science from the University of Nantes, France. Prior to that, he completed his master’s degree in Automatic and Production Systems.

His bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.

He is a registered member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK and a professional engineer member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Biography

Dr Shehzad joined a higher education institution in his home country after completing his doctorate degree. He has over 10 years of experience in teaching and research.

His major areas of expertise include computer engineering. His primary areas of research include digital electronics, computer architecture, and embedded systems. He has supervised numerous master's theses in these areas.
