Since qualifying as a Primary School Teacher in 2011, Victoria has moved into Higher Education where she has worked as a Research Assistant.
Her PhD research titled 'The Governments' Assessment Without Levels policy: Primary School Teachers' experiences in Two West Midlands Primary Schools' focused on Primary School policy change from 2010.
Subsequent research has focused on Teacher Education identity and their engagement in research as well as qualitative research into University Staff Engagement survey. She has also supported a collaborative research project with staff and students exploring inclusivity across a faculty.
As well as teaching and leading Masters level modules, she has supervised masters students through their MA Dissertations.
