Taab is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Dubai campus. He completed his Ph.D. in Operations Management and Decision Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Global Business School before taking up the position at the University of Birmingham.
His broad areas of research interest include crowd logistics and its prospects in an emerging economy and new technology implementation in various business functions.
Taab received the Emerald Literati Award 2022 for Outstanding Paper in the Journal of Enterprise Information Management. He also reviews research manuscripts for various journals, including the Annals of Operations Research, the International Journal of Management Reviews, and the International Journal of Manpower, among others.
