Current projects
Robert facilitates a research in teaching group within the accounting department and regularly attends and presents at educational conferences.
His current interests include the use of diaries for student feedback, the use of technology to improve the student experience as well as trying to examine incentives for student engagement within the undergraduate accounting and finance degree.
He has previously been involved in a study that investigated BTEC students’ experiences of the college-university transition: challenges and potential for supporting success in higher education.
This study aimed to understand the challenges that BTEC students at university face and examine strategies that could potentially support their achievement and progression.
