Dr Yong Lin is an Associate Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. Dr Lin’s work focuses on contemporary management issues at firm, supply chain, and business ecosystem levels. His recent research interests are in digital transformation and sustainability strategies and practices, supply chain risk and resilience, digital logistics platform and business ecosystem.

Biography

Dr Yong Lin joined the University of Birmingham in September 2021 as Associate Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Before that, he worked as Associate Professor at the University of Greenwich, and the Huazhong University of Science & Technology. He also had been a visiting researcher at the IfM (Institute for Manufacturing), University of Cambridge, and a research assistant at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

Dr Lin has contributed to lead and coordinated in several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the 863 Program (National High Technology Research and Development Program of China), and the European Regional Development Fund. He also devoted to transfer research outputs in helping business via industry consulting projects.
