Laura is an assistant professor at the Department of Strategy and International Business at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham, UK. She has extensive teaching experience. She joined the Birmingham Business School in 2022. Previously she has worked as a lecturer at Lancaster University from 2008-2021. Laura is a member of Advance HE and holds Senior Fellowship (SFHEA). She sits on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing. Her research interests focus on different sources of influence on individuals’ attitudes. She has studied individuals across international borders and digital environments. Research findings within those contexts reveal common patterns that form the basis for improved sustainable business strategies for international companies.

Biography

Academic & research-related experience:

Laura has co-authored academic articles and conference papers. They were published in international peer-reviewed journals, including International Business Review, International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, Journal of Marketing Management, International Journal of Intercultural Relations and presented at conferences (e.g., British Academy of Management Conference).

Industry-related experience:

Laura previously worked as a manager for a small company within the retailing sector.
