Idlan Zakaria is Associate Professor in Accounting and teaches financial accounting and business analytics modules. 

She is currently the School Employability Lead.

Biography

Her research interests include performance measurement, corporate governance, financial reporting disclosure and higher education.

In 2019-2020, Idlan spent 18 months leading The Centre, an independent centrist think tank in Malaysia where she was the founding CEO. The think tank focuses on policy research with a particular interest in social safety nets, public goods and societal contracts. Following her stint as CEO, she is now an Advisor with the organisation.
