I teach diverse aspects of biochemistry to undergraduates studying for degrees in Biochemistry, Human Biology, Biological Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical / Biomaterial sciences. I deliver lectures, practicals, workshops and clinical case studies in areas that include protein structure and function, physical biochemistry, aberrations of metabolism, and nutrition.
I have particular interest in problem-based learning which I use in several of the modules on which I teach or lead. And I enjoy the interactive nature of teaching, such as in the wide range of practical classes that I run for diverse cohorts of undergraduates.
