“Across the globe, we see people of all genders suffering from marginalisation, violence and discrimination, with divides becoming wider as society becomes more polarised. Though all experiences vary, we are still seeing people from all areas of society continue to fall victim to violence and isolation. We are working to overcome the barriers that people face in the workplace and throughout their career due to their gender, encouraging better, more transparent polices and equal opportunities for development and leadership. We are examining issues in the Global South, from violence against women, children and other vulnerable people, through to safe access to maternal health, and tackling political rights and barriers to participation. Our research is navigating these issues, and more, to support our society to become one that is inclusive of all, regardless of gender.”
