Dr Nicola Rollock has been selected as the winner of the 2016 PRECIOUS Award for Outstanding Woman in Professional Services for her work in the field of race.  The judges’ decision was announced at the PRECIOUS Awards dinner at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London on Thursday 27th October. On accepting the award, Dr Rollock commented on the particular challenges of working to advance race equality as a woman of colour and acknowledged the determination and resilience of other women of colour whose achievements often go unrecognized in wider society.
