News

Euro-Islam.info is an active network of researchers and scholars who conduct comparative research on Islam and Muslims in Europe and the USA and disseminate key information to politicians, media, and the public. Sponsored by The Edward Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion, the site is recognized in academic, political and media circles as the most reliable online reference for Islam in Europe.

Blogs

The Cadbury Centre blog features articles by academics and professionals affiliated with The Edward Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion. The blog’s mission is to inform an interested public about the Centre’s research, publication and engagement activities that support its core agenda of enhancing the public understanding of religion regionally, nationally and internationally.

Projects

The Charter for Forgiveness and Reconciliation is the founding document for a movement to foster forgiveness and reconciliation, in private settings as well as in public post-conflict situations, as part of a shared journey to restorative justice and sustainable peace. 

The Global Perspective on Religion, Nationalism and Populism project is designed to identify patterns of politicization of religion across countries and traditions. It combines a conceptual history of religion with an analysis of modern political institutions and contexts.

Briefing papers / reports

Professor Francis Davis and Liam Booth-Smith, Chief Executive of Localis, have written a report that makes the case for a disability ‘sector deal’ as part of the government’s industrial strategy. The report was launched by the Department for Work and Pensions in July 2017.
