Dr Kamilla Kopec-Harding

  • Snr Research Data Scientist (IIDSAI / CAIG)

Kamilla holds an MSci in Chemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Birmingham and a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of Manchester. Kamilla is interested in all areas of data science and has worked with researchers from a range of disciplines (from Computer Science to Earth Sciences), using R and Python to help wrangle data into an analysis ready format and extract useful insights. She is an R enthusiast and was an active contributor to the R User Group at the University of Manchester.

Kamilla supports the Centre for AI in Government.

Dr Jeremy Pike

  • Snr Research Data Scientist (IIDSAI)

Jeremy holds an M.Sci. in Mathematics and Physics and a Ph.D. in Image Processing and Biomedical Imaging. After completing his Ph.D. Jeremy worked as an Image Analyst at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute before moving to the Centre of Membrane Proteins and Receptors (COMPARE) at the University of Birmingham. Jeremy has extensive experience with image processing and analysis including machine learned-based methods and enjoys teaching on these topics. Jeremy’s previous research has focussed on methodology for analysing advanced biomedical microscopy data, in particular super resolution techniques.
