About RESET
The RESET group was established in 2014 and its research activities span thermal energy storage, and conversion as well as thermal management. The research covers composite thermal energy materials formulation, phase transition process intensification and system integration and optimization, to address engineering challenges and to translate into real applications. The Group is on track to be an international leading research entity to contribute to the RESET of global carbon levels by decarbonising the heating and cooling sector.
The focus of the RESET Group is directed towards both:
- fundamental research on manipulating heat-fluid-interface interactions to intensify the phase transition
- applied research on devices and systems for decarbonising heating and cooling, and thermal management.
Through its research, the RESET Group strives to be a pioneer in the development and translation of engineering science into thermal energy technologies that will lead to much more efficient and cost-effective processes.
