The Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU) welcomes applications to collaborate with us.
The CRCTU provides a complete service from advice on pre-clinical work and appropriate trial design, right the way through to the running and completion of trials.The CRCTU translates cutting edge science into improved patient care, both rapidly and safely, through the design and conduct of large multi-centre/international randomised trials as well as smaller more data intensive phase I trials of novel therapies. Since 1976, we have worked with more than 20 different industry partners, with over 65% of our trial Chief Investigators external to the University of Birmingham.

The first step to engaging with us is to complete the Birmingham Clinical Trials Consortium (BCTC) New business proposal form.

Please send a completed form to the New Business team: newbusiness@trials.bham.ac.uk
Upon receipt of a completed New Business Proposal Form, a member of the CRCTU will acknowledge your submission. The strategic fit of the proposal within the CRCTU will then be confirmed by our Directors and you will be invited to the CRCTU to discuss the proposal more fully.
