Dr Patricia Esteban shortlisted for Midlands Women in Tech Award

Dr Patricia Esteban, from the Healthcare Technologies Institute has been shortlisted for the Academic award at the Midlands Women in Tech Awards 2024.

Dr Esteban has been making significant contributions to the Healthcare Technologies field by working to advance the development of cellular therapies and tissue engineering approaches for in vitro models of disease.

Speaking of the achievement, Dr Esteban said: “I am honoured to be a finalist for the Midlands Women in Tech Awards 2024. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion I have poured into my career in research and the advancement of technology in healthcare. Being acknowledged amongst such an inspiring group of women who are driving innovation and excellence in the tech industry is truly humbling.”

The Midlands Women in Tech Awards are dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of women working within the tech industry, challenging perceptions, and spotlighting the pioneering women shaping the tech sector. The public vote will be open until 8th September 2024, with the awards ceremony set to take place on 4th October 2024.
