Birmingham Law School alumnus, Lanx Goh, shares his insights and careers advice

University of Birmingham alumnus, Lanx Goh, Senior Director and Global Head of Privacy for Prudential shares insights and advice with students and graduates.

University of Birmingham alumnus Lanx Goh (LLB Law, 2008) - Senior Director and Global Head of Privacy for Prudential, Adjunct Associate Professor of Law with the National University of Singapore (Faculty of Law), Adjunct Lecturer with the Singapore Management University (School of Law), and Honorary Consul of Bulgaria to Singapore - shares his insights and advice with Law students and recent graduates in a series of short films.

Formerly the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Senior Counsel of TikTok and Head of Investigation of the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission, Lanx is a Board Member for Cyber Express Advisory Board, and Fellow of Information Privacy and Board Member with the International Association of Privacy Professional, Asia Advisory and CIPP/A Exam Development Boards. He is an accredited mediator with Singapore Mediation Centre and the Singapore International Mediation Institute.

Following his LLB at Birmingham, Lanx specialised in privacy and intellectual property laws, namely, the Certificate of Copyright Law with Harvard Law School, MSc degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with the University of Oxford and LLM degree with University of California, Berkeley.

Over six films, Lanx shares his insights and experiences of building a client base, working as in-house legal counsel, working for legal firms and in the public sector, and in data and cyberlaw.
