Global Challenges PhD scholarships in IDD: closing date 31 March 2019

IDD has secured two projects under the University of Birmingham's Global Challenges PhD Scholarship scheme, both under the theme of Gender Inequality.

Gender Equality and the Sustainable Development Goals: Improving Measures of Progress will be supervised by Professor Kate Bedford of the Birmingham Law School and IDD’s Professor Nic Cheeseman.

Women in small-scale fisheries: tackling gender inequality for livelihoods and empowerment will be supervised by IDD’s Professor Fiona Nunan and Dr Fraser Sugden of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences.
