Dr Maria Anna Corvaglia judged the Grand Final of the 17th WTO John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition

Dr Maria Anna Corvaglia judged  the Grand Final of the 17th Edition of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition (JHJMCC) in Geneva. She is the case author of this year's edition of the popular competition (together with Rodrigo Polanco from the University of Lucerne). The Competition took place at the WTO from the 3rd to the 8th of June 2019.

The JHJMCC is a simulated hearing of the WTO dispute settlement system. This flagship competition is a fundamental mechanism for enhancing knowledge of WTO law among the hundreds of students in every continent of the world who participate in the competition.

This year, students from 90 schools on six continents were competing in the 17th edition. The best 22 teams from all over the world qualified to participate in the Final Oral Round which took place at the WTO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
