The College of Social Sciences are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

The University of Birmingham’s partnership with CMI means that all students on linked programmes will be eligible for CMI membership. Students studying on these programmes will also receive an additional professional qualification upon successful completion of their degree programme. CMI awards qualifications up to Chartered Manager status.

All final year Business Management Students studying at both of our Birmingham and Singapore campuses will be eligible for CMI Membership as a result of this partnership.

CMI Membership will be available to all final year undergraduate students studying on one our Business Management programmes. Membership can be claimed by students’ in their final year so that all CMI’s resources can be accessed to assist with their studies. This free membership to our students will also be valid for one year post graduation.

Public Management and Leadership Blended Level 7 Executive Apprenticeship (MSc, Executive Apprenticeship, Professional Management Accreditation)

HSMC are currently working with NHS organisations to develop degree apprenticeship opportunities in the areas of health management and leadership.

This is a new and emerging agenda that provides the NHS with a number of opportunities to grow and develop its workforce. If you are interested in degree apprenticeships and would like to discuss these further please contact Dr Ross Millar, r.millar@bham.ac.uk.
