EPS Reunion 2016 Highlights

On 18 June 2016 the College of Engineering & Physical Sciences welcomed back over 100 alumni and guests to the third annual EPS Reunion.

2016 Reunion

Over 100 alumni and guests from 1944 to 2006 attended this year’s annual reunion on Saturday 18 June 2016. Guests travelled from as far as Canada, the USA and Iran to join us and enjoyed a unique opportunity to reminisce with their classmates, revive old friendships and catch-up on all that may have changed in their School.

Alumni were treated to tours of their departments and were given the opportunity to chat with current academics and students working and swap stories and experiences. A number of afternoon activities also took place on the day, including tours of the University’s Barber Institute of Fine Arts, newly refurbished Lapworth Museum of Geology, and a visit to the University’s very own hydrogen-powered barge!

Highlights and photographs of the day’s celebrations can be viewed on both our Flickr and Storify pages.

Reunions always provide a wonderful opportunity for us to hear about our alumni’s achievements and successes. If you have any memories or photos of the reunion or your time at Birmingham that you would like to share with us, please contact our alumni team at eps-community@contacts.bham.ac.uk

Planning for the EPS Reunion 2017 is already underway and our event page will be updated with further information in due course.
