Professor David Gillborn and Dr Paul Warmington gave a keynote presentation at the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) in April this year. During the presentation, they described the growth of CRT in the UK, reflected on the distinctive qualities of ‘BritCrit’, and analysed the nature of the attacks that have been levelled against the approach.
