Do you have an hour a month that you could give to support current students?

The University Mentoring scheme aims to help students through their time at University: from settling in during the first few months, through taking exams, choosing a career path and tackling interviews.

Alumni mentors are an invaluable source of support and advice and students really benefit from talking with graduates who were once ‘in their shoes.’

For alumni, mentoring is an opportunity to share your knowledge with a new generation of Birmingham students, and also a great way to keep in touch with all that’s going on back on campus.

It’s also flexible and can be done face to face, remotely via email or SKYPE – however best suits the mentor and mentee.
