Papers resulting from the Challenges of Transnational Investigations conference hosted by the Institute of Judicial Administration in 2013 have now been published in the European Journal of Crime, Criminal Law and Criminal Justice (vol 23, issue 2). The conference was co-funded by the Hercule Programme of the European Commission.

The Challenges of Transnational Investigations Conference

This publication ensures the translation of the conference results into an academic publication in a high-impact journal. The IJA event was marked by in-depth and intense discussions between academics, policy-makers and practitioners about the difficulties faced during transnational settings (see the conference report). Some of the in-depth considerations voiced are now available more broadly. Publications include Birmingham academic and IJA Co-Director Dr Marianne Wade's on "Securing Defence Rights in Transnational Proceedings."
